Football for Peace
Sahmakum Teang Tnaut organised a football competition to promote their "Stop Evictions" campaign.
Chumkriel Language School entered 3 youth teams in this 8 team local round robin competition at the very fine Kampot Olympic Stadium. Criteria for selection was height under 1.4 metre but we had to be a little flexible.

New Handwashing facility
CLS, through some generous donations have been able to provide Chumkriel primary school with a hand washing facility.
Previously the children at the school have had no place to wash hands after going to the toilet or before eating. We hope that by encouraging the children to wash hands regularly, unnecessary illness will be reduced and attendance at school will be improved.
Hanna and Saophon have been giving hand washing lessons to all primary school classes and we have committed to providing a regulay supply of soap.

We all miss Miss Mitzi
Our good friend Mitzi spent longer than she expected here.
Its great when we have folk stay for a while and get to know us all. Thank you Mitzi for staying a while and being such a wonderful support to us all !
And also to Chris (2 from left, last picture) - doing such a wonderful job supporting us from Australia - we expect to see him back here next year.
